We'd like to thank our loyal friends that visited our blog on a regular basis. As a group we've decided that we no longer want to post work on a weekly basis but on our own personal schedules. We plan on continuing with the site as more of a reference place for our work than a working weekly blog. Please continue to check in once in a while to see if we've posted new work and always visit our galleries to see what work is still for sale.Thank you for all of your support over the past year.

It is no wonder you sold this piece, the cupcakes look good enough to eat.

I love the detail of the swirl in the frosting. In my mind's eye it is rich smooth butter cream frosting. Too sweet for me to eat but it does bring back sweet memories of my pre-diabetic days.

It also reminds me of an inside joke at our family's birthday celebrations - one time many years ago my sister an excellent cook mixed up a batck of frosting and the granulated sugar just did not disolve right. The result was a slightly gritty frosting. Now her one bad incident in the kitchen comes up every time we have cake. Who says that sibling rivalry dies when the siblings top 40 something?
